Coaching is to your mind what working out is to your body.
After an intense work out session, you can feel it in your body, you have to rest. Your mental strength requires the same level of training. As an example, a key mental muscle you may want to start working on is Self-Integrity. It consists of doing what you tell yourself you will do. The goal is to create self-confidence. When you start trusting yourself, you ultimately progress a lot faster in life.
The list of the exercises is long, there are multiple mental muscles. Here are a few key elements that you may want to work on (along with Self-Integrity mentioned above):
- Raise your self-confidence
- Improve your Fear management system
- Change your perspective of failure
- Control of your mental chatter
- Select what you want to say
- Develop curiosity
These are a few examples of what you can start practicing. Improving these skills takes perseverance and repetition. You can absolutely do it on your own. All it takes is mental strength!
